- is easy to use and navigate
- is easily accessible by everyone
- can be used in a range of contexts
- has been tested and reviewed for its suitability

An example of content delivered against recognised guidelines
The Core Learning Unit (CLU), who, working in partnership with the NHS, has developed a range of e-Learning programmes which can add real value to the learning needs of all health and care staff. The programmes are mapped to the Knowledge and Skills Framework, Healthcare Commission and Skills for Health (SfH), National Occupation Standards and National Workforce Competencies.
As part of SfH, the CLU is working towards inclusion of the e-Learning programmes onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework, which is a new way of recognising skills and qualifications by awarding credit for qualifications and small steps of learning.
