Further Information: Course documentation templates require the clear statement of learning objectives.

What is a course documentation template?

A template is a predesigned master version of a document which is used to ensure that there is a consistency of approach and to encourage development companies to supply you with the information you are asking for.

Once you have designed a course documentation template, you will be able to use it over and over again.

What to include in the template about learning objectives.

When you are asking development companies to develop an e-Learning training course, then you need to provide them with a course documentation template part of which requires them to include a clear statement showing:

  • the course learning objectives
  • how they are going to be achieved
  • how they are going to be evaluated in an e-Learning context.

This template should be provided as well as any instructional materials you might have produced to assist developers on how to use them.
