Help, I have a class in five minutes

Trainers may have had training on how to use the e-Learning technology in your organisation but may still need help sometimes and things can go wrong.

They may have a class in five minutes and the network is down or they cannot connect to the learning management system.

Can they call for immediate help or is the one and only technical support person away for two weeks holiday?

Some problems are less urgent, though just as important. The trainer may want to be able to set up a new discussion group or know how to create an animation.

The local e-Learning support lead can be contacted for assistance.

Your organisation can enable several ways of getting help, such as:

  • make a phone call
  • email technical support
  • have regular meetings with other trainers
  • ask a five year-old.

Trainers in your organisation should know how to get technical help and when they do they should get a response in an appropriate time.
